The water wheel brings energy into the WEG Museum. Energy vital to the functioning of an electric motor. Energy that makes
the radio work, a radio which was a dream of consumption to the settlers, a radio which was kept in a place of honor in the
room far from the children. The first generator produced at the age of 14 by Werner Voigt who also repaired radios in his
workshop, is one of the highlights of the collection.
On the outside, a scale from 1911 represents the railway and places the building in the geographic space of Jaraguá do Sul. Built originally to shelter the carpentry, the building is near the railway to facilitate the flowing of the production. This space registers the passage of the station and the growing city around it. |
